Public playground

The public model playground requires no account and stores nothing on a server. Inference in the public lab is a deterministic simulation that runs entirely in your browser; session memory lives only in the current tab and is discarded when you close it. The runtime panel reads your browser’s capabilities locally and does not transmit them.

Data we collect

When you request access or enter a private workspace, Epoch stores account identifiers, access requests, lesson progress, notebook content, and chat history needed to operate the workspace and associated research workflows.

How we use data

Data is used for platform operation, study analysis, tutoring-quality review, security, and internal research evaluation. We do not sell personal data.

Memory & student-owned vaults

Learning memory is off, session-only, or a student-owned vault. Persistent memory is never retained silently; it requires an explicit permission in a pilot workspace and remains under the learner’s or institution’s control.

Retention

Records are retained according to operational need, research-review requirements, and legal obligations. Users may request deletion, subject to required retention exceptions.
